200 Refugees Just Heard the Gospel

Germany is home to nearly 1 million refugees from Syria, Afghanistan, and Iraq.

About a month ago, YWAM Orlando sent a team to Germany to work with some of these refugees.

Only July 30th, at about 7:00AM EST, more than 200 refugees were able too watch the Jesus film in their languages and have dinner with 100 volunteers who were eager to share the Gospel - and those volunteers included our YWAM team.

I believe God moves when you pray. Would you please take some time right now to pray that these refugees have an encounter with Jesus?

There will be 2 more events like this. Please pray for the Holy Spirit to reveal Jesus at these events, and please pray for energy and refreshment for our team.

Jazmine is on the Germany Outreach Team. She feels a missions calling to Thailand, and has begun learning the Thai language. On her outreach in Germany, she met a group of Thai women and was able to share the Gospel and the love of Jesus with them.

We’ve also got YWAM teams in Cambodia and the USA. Here are 2 brief stories from Cambodia:

Story from Lexa:

“This 4th of July, our team showed love to the students from New Hope school. 80% of the school children are without parents because the mothers and fathers travel to Thailand. As a result, grandparents are left with the youth. In Khmer there is a phrase that says, "Don't show kids love because it makes them soft". However, we hug, smile, laugh, and play with the students which brings joy to their hearts. To transform this culture mindset, our team lavishes God's unconditional love upon the abandoned and rejected students.”

Story from Jadon:

“We also got the opportunity to preach and share the gospel at a Buddhist school! It was a great privilege and honor to share the Bible and truth with around 70 young children and to get to share the truth that God is the one true God. For many of the kids it was their first time learning what the Bible was. It’s a beautiful opportunity we had to share the parable of the Good Shepherd and to show them love, fun, and joy and to love them like Christ does.”

The Cambodia Outreach Team.

Thanks for praying for these teams. They work very hard - but it's important to remember that - while we sow and water seeds - it's God who makes them grow.

Until all have heard,
Tommy
